Small Charity Week – Trustee Matching & Networking Event

June 16, 2016 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

16th June | 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm – Following on from last year’s successful event, we’re delighted to be supporting Small Charity Week once again.

Join us for this relaxed and informal event if your charity is looking for trustees or you’re interested in becoming a trustee yourself.  You’ll be able to talk to charities that are recruiting and find out the skills required and what it’s really all about!

Being a trustee can enhance your leadership skills and be a very  fulfilling  experience.  It’s a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people and directly influence an organisation or cause that you care about.

Includes refreshments and nibbles! Our friendly facilitators will meet and greet you and ensure that you are introduced to some interesting people, whether you come alone, or with colleagues and friends.

Format of the evening:

6.30pm  Registration & networking

6.45pm  Welcome and introductions

Charities recruiting trustees give a 30 second pitch of their opportunities/skills sought

7.00pm  Trustee matching and networking

9.00pm  Close of event

Should I attend?

Yes if you’re…

  • A small charity looking to recruit trustees
  • Interested in finding a trustee role within a charity
  • Looking to develop your leadership skills at whatever stage in your career
  • Thinking of making a career change to the charity sector – becoming a trustee is a great way to enhance your skills and networks!

We could give you loads more reasons but we think if you join us, you’ll make great connections, and have a good time too!
