It’s I Am’s second birthday and we’re celebrating in the Hub! What an amazing two years it’s been! We’ve recruited for some of the UK’s largest charities, organised over 100 events, worked with award winning trainers, run an international telesummit, launched our new website and of course, most importantly, have brought together hundreds of people in the charity and ethical business world who make a difference!
So, a big thank you to everyone who has supported us – speakers, charities, our wonderful volunteer facilitators, business mentors and of course the fabulous Impact Hub Westminster, where we’re based. It’s truly inspiring to be surrounded by so many social entrepreneurs and ethical businesses, creating social change!

Meet the team
Our other exciting news is that we’ve also recently added to our charity recruitment team! Sophie and Gavin joined us in the autumn and are actively recruiting the best candidates for leading charities and not-for-profit organisations.
Sophie’s passion lies in organisations concerned with social exclusion and women’s mental health. She has bags of charity volunteering experience, having worked with homeless people in New York, refugees in Sweden and the long-term unemployed in London.
Gavin has spent the last three summers volunteering in New York, mentoring and teaching young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. In his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, swimming, running and keeping fit!
