I Am turns 2!

It’s I Am’s second birthday and we’re celebrating in the Hub!  What an amazing two years it’s been!  We’ve recruited for some of the UK’s largest charities, organised over 100 events, worked with award winning trainers, run an international telesummit, launched our new website and of course, most importantly, have brought together hundreds of people in the charity and ethical business world who make a difference!

So, a big thank you to everyone who has supported us – speakers, charities, our wonderful volunteer facilitators, business mentors and of course the fabulous Impact Hub Westminster, where we’re based.  It’s truly inspiring to be surrounded by so many social entrepreneurs and ethical businesses, creating social change!

Share your stories

We’ve met so many  inspirational people from the charity world with incredibly motivating career change stories in the past couple of years.  If you have a story to tell, please do share it with us via our blog or at one of our events – and do let us know if you’ve made any interesting connections at our events, or even found work!

Meet the team

Our other exciting news is that we’ve also recently added to our charity recruitment team!  Sophie and Gavin joined us in the autumn and are actively recruiting the best candidates for leading charities and not-for-profit organisations.

Sophie Johnsson

Sophie

Sophie’s passion lies in organisations concerned with social exclusion and  women’s mental health.  She has bags of charity volunteering experience, having worked with homeless people in New York, refugees in Sweden and the long-term unemployed in London.

Gavin Miller

Gavin

Gavin has spent the last three summers volunteering in New York, mentoring and teaching young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. In his spare time, he enjoys rock climbing, swimming, running and keeping fit!

We take pride in being a truly ethical recruitment company who in the last year have placed  exceptional candidates with some amazing charities and not-for-profits.  So if you’re thinking about moving jobs or would like an informal conversation about recruiting the best staff, do get in touch!

In 2014 we want to….

Quite simply, bring even more passionate and skilled people together to do great work and create social change! If you haven’t joined us at one of our networking events yet, I hope you will do so soon!

This blog is brought to you by the I Am Group.  We work with charities to provide networking and learning events and help charities and not-for-profit organisations recruit the best staff.
